Hemiptera is a variable geometry collective focused on interpreting and creating contemporary music in collaboration with artists from different fields who work with sound. Created by the eight percussionists and founders of CIGARRA - Associação Cultural  - a space that is the members' personal studio and also a platform for support for young artists with regular programming - the collective embraces the idea of integrating different members from other artistic areas.
