Without is Umbra's first project, a concert in which a single piece was played. In this 43-minute piece, Clara de Asís has given a precise framework for the position and duration of each sound section and each silence, as well as an outline for the texture and dynamics of each sound, the use of pitch or noise, and the materials for the percussion, but much of the score is open to the freedom of the performers.
