Skodespelet - a brand new text by Nobel Prize winner Jon Fosse is ready for the stage at the International Fosse Festival! This text is quite different from many of the other plays Jon Fosse has written, and breaks with both expectations and clichés.

We meet a grown-up and a younger couple standing on the quay waiting for a boat. They don't know when the boat is coming, they only know that it's coming and that they have tickets. They wait. But they haven't waited long before a small troupe of actors unexpectedly turns up.

The actors offer them a theatre play to shorten their wait. And the waiters accept. Because no one can leave on this boat without first seeing the actors perform Skodespelet.
